The new ice age is finally here. We've been warned and warned and warned...but we didn't listen. The Northeast corridor is now a frozen Hellscape. So what better way to celebrate our return to the hunter gatherer way of life than with TOYFAIR!

Master Controller Mike once again fought off Mattel bred Mutants and now Woolly Mammoths to find out what the latest and greastest things we will be spending money on, instead of food and clean water...

Let's start again with the reason why most of you are here, Diamond X-Plus line of Godzilla figures. In addition to previous announced, forthcoming figures for this year, Diamond also had three Godzilla figures on display, Godzilla'84, Godzilla'04 and the Sakai Godzilla'89 27cm figure (a big surprise in and of itself). No release date or MSRP on any of these yet, but they will likely ship in the third or fourth quarter, so we should see more info this spring...

Diamond also had a fully painted prototype of their Ghosbusters rooftop diorama scene. In order to build this, you need to get every figure in the line, and only from specialty retailers like us! Series one is out now. Series two, which features Venkman, Egon, and Dana as Zuul, should ship in June, with series three, featuring Slimer, a second version of Ray, and Janine. "Dickless" Peck, and Gozer will likely be part of an eventual series 4...

Also featured at their booth, but we were forbidden from taking photos of is the Diamond Select Toys PULP FICTION figures. The line up will seem to include two versions of Vincent & Jules, The Wolf, and Marcellus Wallace. No word yet on if Zed & The Gimp will see action figure forms...

Diamond Select Toys is also planing a Select figure of Khan from STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN. We were asked to also not photograph that figure, as like the PULP FICTION line, they are still pending licensing & likeness approval.

Now here is Master Controller Mike's FAVORITE thing at Toyfair! Mezco's 24" Gigantor line of figures! YES! This is an entire series of Shogun Warrior sized Gigantors! No MSRPs or ETAs on these yet, but we WILL carry these when they are available.

Moving on to NECA's booth, they featured series 8 of their ALIEN line, all from ALIEN 3. This wave will consist of shaved head Ripley, a Weyland-Yutani Soldier, and a revamped Dog Alien. This set lands this summer and we'll carry it!

Also featured at NECA's booth was their 1/4 Hulk from AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, Bill and Ted 8" Retro style figure set from BILL & TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, a 1/4 scale Donnie from the original TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES movie. Not featured at their booth, but debuted on their Twitter page was a Working In Progress Godzilla'01, which they estimate to have on the market by July...

Overall, not a HUGE toyfair event. A lot of BATMAN VS SUPERMAN: DAWN OF BRO DOWN merchandise, too much to even bother taking pictures of as it all just blurred together at a certain point. Disappointedly, there seemed to be no GODZILLA: RESURGENCE merchandise on display. It could've potentially been inside Bandai's weird mini funhouse fortress in the center of the show, but they're appointment only, and if you're not Toys R Us, you're not getting that appointment...

Below is a random sampling of photos from all over the show. Enjoy!
