At last, the secret...REVEALED! Vampire Robots has been cooking up something different for this year's summertime exclusive, and its time to show it to you all! What we have here is a "Vampire Robots Convention Exclusive" cover for IDW's GODZILLA: OBLIVION # 4, art rendered by 2015 Ghastly Award winner Jeff Zornow, hand picked for the assignment by the Master Controller himself, Michael.

When discussing what exactly the cover should be, including what one could get away with, within the parameters of the OBLIVION'S storyline (which involves parallel universes), it was decided that the cover would be a tribute of sorts to the late Noriyoshi Ohrai and his fantastic Heisei era Godzilla art. In particular, it would reference the beautiful advanced art design for 1989's GODZILLA VS. BIOLLANTE...seen here...

Featuring the "Flowering" or rosebud form of Biollante, which is rarely depicted in merchandise, and the '85, or "84Goji" suit from 1984's RETURN OF GODZILLA (a.k.a. GODZILLA 1985), a Godzilla design popular amongst Godzilla nerds who came of age in the 1980s, including VR's own Master controller....

So how do you get this fabulous thing? Simple, you have to come to G-Fest, being held at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare, July 15th to 17th. As stated above, its a "Convention Exclusive", (we weren't allowed to call it a "G-Fest Exclusive") and it debuts there first!

Limited to a print run of only 1,200 copies, and available on a first come, first serve basis, this is sure to be one of the rarer GODZILLA: OBLIVION chase variants. How much will such a wonderful and unique souvenir from G-Fest XXIII set you back??? Why, you can get this funny book for only FIVE DOLLARS! That's right! $5.00, bagged and boarded (What? you thought this was going to be some ridiculous, overpriced Marmit?) You can even go get it signed by the cover artist himself! You'll be able to find Vampire Robots in the Dealers Room at G-fest, in the same spot we had last time, and remember...

ZORNOW MUST BE DESTROYED!
